Hon. Emmanuel Okwuobasi Kanu ''Arochukwu New TC Chairman''

A new TC Chairman was recently sworn-in by the Deputy Governor of Abia State, His Excellency, Rt. Hon Ude Oko Chukwu Ph.D. He is Hon. Emmanuel Okwuobasi Kanu popularly known as Jideofor who has served the Council earlier as a Deputy Chairman. You will recall that the former Chairman, Hon Onyekachi Okoro slumped and died about two weeks ago, hence the need for his replacement.

Hon Kanu is a dogged politician that hails from Atani in Arochukwu, a past President of Nzuko Aro, Lagos Branch, a member of Ezienyi Club, Arochukwu and an Alumnus of Aggrey Memorial College, Arochukwu. Given his antecedents, we are confident that he will bring his experience to bare in his new calling to move the council area to enviable heights.

We join friends and admirers to congratulate Jideofor while praying God to bestow him with the wisdom of Solomon in the discharge of his duties. We are equally grateful to the Executive Governor of Abia State, His Excellency Okezie Victor Ikpeazu Ph.D and commend him for the choice of Hon Kanu as the new TC Chairman of Arochukwu LGA.
